At the end of my undergraduate study at Dartmouth College in 2022, I was awarded the Perspectives on Design Award, granted annually by the Studio Art Department to the senior project deemed most worthy of recognition. As a result of this award, I was invited back in the Summer of 2024 for a solo exhibition at the Jaffe-Friede Gallery in Dartmouth.

Make Yourself at Home attempts to capture the interstitial state between waking and dreaming. The exhibition featured a brand new series of “motivational posters” placed in glossy frames with dark backgrounds to create a mirror in each one, as well as two projections facing each other. In both of these installations, the viewer is constantly looking both into an unknown world, while seeing themselves in it.
