Ronnie Ahlborn is a half-Chinese digital artist from outside of Detroit, Michigan. She received a BA from Dartmouth College in Studio Art and Human-Centered Design. Studying and working professionally in graphic design, Ronnie’s now works primarily in the digital medium. At the end of her college career, she was awarded the Perspectives on Design Award, given to the senior project deemed most worthy of recognition by the Studio Art Department, being the first digital artist to do so. Soon after, she moved to New York and has since shown in galleries in Manhattan and Brooklyn, collaborated with musicians on album artwork and visuals, and worked with many other organizations on various design projects. Ronnie continues to build out her body of work and art practice from her bedroom in Brooklyn, and will soon be pursuing an MFA in Computer Art at the School of Visual Art in New York.
